Poklewsky-Kozell's House Exhibition Centre
The permanent exhibition of the Museum is located in the mansion
of the Poklewsky-Kozell industrialists, vodka kings of the Urals. The well-preserved
interiors of the mansion are of particular interest in the Museum. The mansion was
built in the 1870s in the eclectic style and is connected with many historic events
of Ekaterinburg. The permanent exhibition presents the collection of Russian
carved wood furniture of the 19th century, the objects of city daily life. You can
learn here about the history of the foundation of the Museum by the Ural Society
of Naturalists in 1870. Meetings, presentations, lectures and concerts are held
in the hall of the Museum.
